Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the part-time remote New Jersey Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based care with a focus on women's mental health issues.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments, formulating diagnoses based on medical histories and mental status examinations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy interventions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic patient care and provide education on mental health conditions and wellness strategies
Required qualifications
- Valid and active New Jersey Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license
- Valid and active New Jersey DEA (with schedules 2-5)
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Experience working in women's health or perinatal mental health
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare software
