Job Summary
Serving as a legal advisor to the Global Supply Chain organization, the full-time New Jersey Licensed Senior Counsel will provide strategic counsel on supply chain, trade, and human rights issues, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation while collaborating with senior leadership and various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on complex legal issues related to the supply of products across clinical and commercial networks
- Provide guidance on global trade matters, including tariffs, customs compliance, and economic sanctions
- Assist in human rights due diligence, focusing on responsible sourcing and supply chain transparency
Required qualifications
- JD (or equivalent) and admission in good standing to at least one U.S. state bar; qualified to practice in-house in New Jersey
- 8 or more years of legal experience in law firms, in-house, or government roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
- Experience in human rights, customs, international trade, or supply chain matters is preferred
- Proven ability to negotiate complex commercial transactions
- Strong relationship-building skills to advise and influence senior executives on legal and regulatory matters
