Job Summary
Seeking a New Jersey Licensed Senior Counsel, the full-time attorney will independently manage complex insurance defense litigation, including multimillion-dollar losses and professional liability cases, while enjoying autonomy and support from engaged leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
- Develop compelling case themes and maintain routine communications with clients
- Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys while cultivating client relationships
Required qualifications
- JD from an ABA-approved law school
- Active New Jersey Bar license with at least five years of substantive insurance defense experience
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience, including trial preparation and case management
- Proficiency in MS Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to think and act independently with minimal supervision
