Job Summary
Seeking a New Jersey Licensed Senior Counsel, the full-time attorney will independently manage complex insurance defense litigation cases, including multimillion-dollar losses and professional liability, while enjoying meaningful autonomy and support from leadership in a collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
- Develop compelling case themes and maintain routine communications with clients
- Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys while cultivating client relationships
Required qualifications
- Active New Jersey Bar license and JD from an ABA-approved school
- At least 8 years of solid litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense
- Proven ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including discovery and trial preparation
- Experience with time management systems and proficiency in MS Suite
- Strong independent thinking and minimal supervision capabilities
