New Jersey Licensed Sports Analyst

Job Summary

Leading the strategic direction for Sports Analytics, the full-time remote Principal Sports Analyst will transform analytics into a key differentiator for the organization, manage high-impact analytical models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the analytics strategy for Sports, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and focusing on business value
• Lead the design and delivery of complex analytical models and frameworks, including predictive models and advanced segmentation
• Serve as the organizational authority on sports wagering data, guiding critical decisions across engineering, trading, compliance, and product teams

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or business intelligence with a track record of leading enterprise-scale analytical programs
• Mastery of SQL, Python (or R), and data visualization tools, with experience in deploying production-quality analytical models
• Expertise in statistical methods, including experimental design, causal inference, and econometrics
• Demonstrated ability to influence organizational decision-making at the executive level and manage complex projects simultaneously
• Deep knowledge of sports leagues, betting markets, and iGaming regulations, with experience in a regulated environment preferred
