Job Summary
To support a growing telehealth practice, the part-time New Jersey Licensed Supervising Physician will conduct approximately 20 telehealth visits daily, oversee care plans for homebound patients, and provide clinical guidance to nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct telehealth visits with established homebound Medicare patients, targeting 4,000-5,000 visits annually
- Review and sign care plans and provide supervision for a pod of nurse practitioners and physician assistants
- Train care coordinators on care management protocols and conduct chart audits for clinical staff
Required qualifications
- MD or DO, board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics
- Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in New Jersey
- Current DEA registration in good standing
- Eligible to enroll and bill as a Medicare practitioner
- Experience with high-volume telehealth and efficient clinical documentation
