Job Summary
To foster a supportive learning environment, the full-time hourly New Mexico Licensed Early Childhood Teacher will provide guidance to classroom staff and work with typically and atypically developing children in a classroom-based setting in Santa Fe, NM.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily classroom activities to create an appropriate social and emotional environment for children
- Provide guidance and support to classroom staff to enhance educational practices
- Adapt to various classrooms and centers as necessary for program operations
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED with a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent, or relevant early childhood education degree
- Experience teaching infants and toddlers preferred
- Ability to obtain First Aid and BLS/CPR certifications within 30 days of hire
- Bilingual in Spanish or Navajo preferred
- Successful completion of health exams and background checks as required
