Job Summary
To support the implementation and growth of genetics programs, a New Mexico Licensed Genetic Counselor will provide high-quality telemedicine counseling services, collaborate with clinical teams, and participate in multidisciplinary initiatives in a full-time remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver genetic counseling services and direct patient care through telemedicine
- Assist in program launches and integrate Genomics programs into practice with local clinical teams
- Participate in case conferences, provider education, and quality improvement initiatives
Required qualifications
- Master's Degree in Genetic Counseling/Clinical Genetics
- Genetic Counselor License - State Board upon hire
- National Certified Genetic Counselor - American Board of Genetic Counseling upon hire
- 3 years' experience in patient-facing genetic counseling and risk assessment
