Job Summary
To support K-12 students in a remote setting, a New Mexico Licensed Occupational Therapist will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to enhance students' motor skills and overall functional abilities on a part-time basis, working 6-8 hours one day per week.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with students, parents, and school staff
- Monitor and document students' progress towards goals, adjusting intervention plans as needed
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist in New Mexico
- Registered with the National Board Certification Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school or pediatric setting
- Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric occupational therapy
