New Student Advisor

Job Summary

Supporting students in their educational journey, the full-time remote New Student Advisor will provide academic guidance, engage with learners to address inquiries, and collaborate on retention strategies to enhance student success.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide academic planning and support by assisting learners with course navigation and academic policies
• Serve as the primary point of contact for students, addressing non-academic inquiries through various communication channels
• Collaborate with colleagues to implement retention initiatives and identify at-risk learners to promote academic success

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Proficient in time management and relationship building
• Basic computer literacy to navigate required technology effectively
• Ability to communicate fluently in verbal and written English
