Job Summary
To support high school students in grades 9-12, a New York Licensed AP Tutor will provide remote AP Test Prep Tutoring for AP World History and/or AP Human Geography, focusing on customized lesson plans and maintaining a flexible schedule with regular assignments.
Key responsibilities
- Provide AP Test Prep Tutoring sessions lasting 60-90 minutes
- Create customized lesson plans tailored to individual student learning styles
- Schedule tutoring sessions primarily between 3PM and 9PM CST on weekdays and 10AM to 4PM CST on weekends
Required qualifications
- Earned Bachelor's Degree
- State teaching certification (current or former) with experience teaching AP subjects
- Availability of 3-12 hours per week
- Familiarity with online lesson delivery
- Strong communication skills and a passion for education
