Job Summary

To support a growing portfolio of clients, the full-time New York Licensed Associate Attorney will manage emerging companies and venture capital matters, including entity formation, financing, and corporate governance, in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as outside general counsel to early-stage and growth companies, providing practical legal guidance
• Lead venture financings by drafting and negotiating key documents such as term sheets and stock purchase agreements
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts while advising on corporate governance and compliance matters

Required qualifications

• J.D. from a top law school
• Membership in the New York state bar
• 2+ years of experience at a top national law firm or in-house at a technology company
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
