New York Licensed Boarding Paralegal

Job Summary

Managing the initial stages of foreclosure cases, the full-time hourly New York Licensed Boarding Paralegal will handle data input, document review, and file management, ensuring accurate loan data entry and processing status changes in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and establish new case files while organizing and categorizing associated documents
• Review loan documents for completeness and determine if additional documentation is needed
• Input client and case information into the firm's case management system, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or relevant experience in the industry in lieu of a degree
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in default services, with a focus on foreclosure and bankruptcy
• Proficiency in CaseAware and familiarity with BKFS/Tempo is highly desirable
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
