Job Summary
Leading the development and maintenance of actuarial models, the remote Capital Modeling Actuary - Life & Annuity will focus on liability valuation, business planning, and capital assessment, leveraging 8-10 years of experience in capital modeling.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, validate, and maintain actuarial models for liability valuation and capital assessment
- Collaborate with actuarial, finance, investment, and risk teams on complex modeling initiatives
- Conduct scenario testing, sensitivity analysis, and model validation to ensure accuracy and compliance
Required qualifications
- 8-10 years of actuarial modeling experience within life insurance and annuities
- Strong hands-on expertise with MG-ALFA, GGY AXIS, or Prophet
- Deep understanding of ALM, cash flow testing, and asset adequacy testing
- Familiarity with STAT, GAAP/LDTI, and Bermuda regulatory requirements is preferred
- Solid grasp of mortality, lapse, expense, and investment assumptions
