Job Summary
Managing complex workers' compensation claims, the fully remote New York Licensed Claims Adjuster will analyze claims exposure, interact with various parties to ensure effective communication, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex workers' compensation claims while applying analytical skills for informed decision-making
- Interact extensively with claimants and clients to ensure effective communication and resolution of claims
- Document and communicate claim activity timely and efficiently, supporting the outcome of the claim file
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 3 years related claims experience
- Appropriately licensed and/or certified in New York for claims handling
- Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices
- Computer experience with related claims and business software
