New York Licensed Claims Examiner

Job Summary

Analyzing General Liability, Auto Liability, and Premise claims, the full-time New York Licensed Claims Examiner will adjudicate complex customer claims while ensuring compliance with service expectations and industry best practices in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and gather information to determine claim exposure and process claims to timely resolution
• Negotiate settlements of claims within designated authority
• Communicate claim activity and processing updates to claimants and clients

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Knowledge of multiple jurisdictions is preferred
• New York licensing is required
• Professional certification applicable to the line of business is preferred
