Job Summary

Analyzing Lost-Time Workers Compensation claims, the full-time New York Licensed Claims Examiner will adjudicate complex customer claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate claim activities while working remotely or in a hybrid schedule if within commutable distance to Syracuse, NY.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims to achieve timely resolutions through investigation and information gathering
• Negotiate settlements of claims within designated authority
• Communicate claim activity and processing updates to claimants and clients

Required qualifications

• 2 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
• Knowledge of New York jurisdiction is essential
• New York licensing preferred but not required
