Job Summary

Analyzing complex medical malpractice claims, the full-time New York Licensed Claims Specialist will manage severe injury cases, coordinate case management, and ensure timely resolutions while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Investigates and processes complex medical malpractice claims to determine exposure and develop action plans for resolution
• Calculates and assigns reserves to claims, monitors adequacy, and recommends settlement strategies
• Coordinates legal defense and communicates claim activity to clients while maintaining professional relationships

Required qualifications

• 6 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Licenses as required for the role
• Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
