Job Summary
Supervising multiple teams of examiners, the full-time New York Licensed Claims Team Lead will adjudicate complex workers' compensation claims, provide technical direction, and ensure compliance with audit standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Supervises multiple teams of examiners and technical staff for workers' compensation claims
- Identifies trends and recommends actions to management for continuous process improvement
- Acts as the second level of appeal for client and claimant issues regarding claims
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Ten (10) years of claims experience, including two (2) years in a supervisory role
- Licensing in New York is required
- Professional certifications applicable to the line of business preferred
- Knowledge of New York jurisdiction is essential
