New York Licensed Clinical Admissions Therapist

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the remote New York Licensed Clinical Admissions Therapist will meet with clients upon admission, complete biopsychosocial assessments, and establish treatment needs while managing flexible scheduling for client care.

Key responsibilities

• Develop rapport with clients and referral sources through effective communication
• Conduct virtual biopsychosocial assessments for various age groups and determine appropriateness for intensive outpatient programs
• Document client information and collaborate with internal teams to facilitate intake processes

Required qualifications

• Independent licensure in a mental health field is required
• Experience with behavioral health assessments and admissions is preferred
• Experience working with a diverse age range, including children and adults, is preferred
• Access to reliable technology resources for telehealth services
• Native or bilingual English proficiency
