Job Summary
To support medication management, the full-time New York Licensed Clinical Pharmacist will review prior authorizations, develop clinical criteria, and collaborate with healthcare providers while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor and review prior authorization requests for medications
- Develop clinical criteria and medical policies for medication reviews
- Conduct drug utilization reviews to assess clinical appropriateness and cost-effectiveness
Required qualifications:
- Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Registered Pharmacist in New York with a license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year experience in prior authorization reviews
- Strong clinical knowledge of pharmaceuticals and disease states
