Job Summary

As a key strategic partner, the full-time remote Senior Counsel, Corporate & Risk will manage third-party contracting, disputes, and corporate insurance matters while collaborating with various teams during a pivotal growth phase.

Key responsibilities

• Lead third-party and vendor contracting, including contract review and handling escalations
• Address disputes and escalated requests, partnering with Customer Experience and Communications for effective resolution
• Oversee Headway's annual corporate insurance cycle and ongoing insurance administration

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of legal experience with at least 2 years in-house
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth start-up environment, preferably in healthcare
• Proven ability to manage complex commercial contracting processes
• Strong emotional intelligence for building relationships with cross-functional partners
• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing, with the ability to register as NY in-house counsel
