New York Licensed DBT Therapist

Job Summary

To support a growing telehealth practice, the full-time New York Licensed DBT Therapist will provide individual and group DBT therapy via live video, assign digital lessons, and collaborate with a team of clinicians to enhance client outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver individual DBT therapy and facilitate skills groups through live video sessions
• Assign and monitor DBT-relevant digital lessons and assessments for clients
• Participate in weekly consultation meetings and ongoing training to enhance clinical skills

Required qualifications

• Active New York license allowing for independent practice without supervision
• Formal training in DBT, including experience with comprehensive DBT therapy and skills group facilitation
• Minimum one year of experience working with clients in DBT, including high-risk behaviors
• Experience providing telehealth therapy services preferred
• Willingness to obtain cross-licensing in additional states as needed
