Job Summary

To support a collaborative insurance defense practice, the full-time New York Licensed Insurance Defense Attorney will handle a diverse caseload involving general and professional liability defense, manage cases through all litigation phases, and develop effective legal strategies while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload involving general and professional liability defense litigation
• Represent clients in various legal matters, including premises liability, medical malpractice, and catastrophic injury defense
• Develop litigation strategies and provide effective legal advice while collaborating with clients and stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active New York Bar admission
• Experience in general or professional liability defense litigation
• Strong litigation and trial experience preferred
• Interest in mentoring and long-term professional development
