New York Licensed Legal Counsel
Job Summary
Seeking a driven New York Licensed Legal Counsel in Procurement, the full-time position will manage high-value procurement negotiations, draft and negotiate various agreements, and provide legal guidance to procurement stakeholders in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary legal partner to global Procurement, advising on third-party contracting matters
- Draft and negotiate buy-side agreements, including SaaS, software, and professional services contracts
- Develop and maintain scalable procurement and legal review processes while delivering training to stakeholders on contracting and negotiation strategies
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial contract experience with a proven track record in procurement agreements
- JD with an active bar membership in New York
- Experience in a law firm and/or high-growth tech company
- Understanding of data privacy requirements
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills with a proactive and results-driven approach
