Job Summary
Seeking a New York Licensed Litigation Attorney, the full-time remote position will manage a variety of litigated matters, including drafting motions and conducting legal research, while appearing in court for contested motions and evidentiary hearings.
Key responsibilities
- Draft motions, briefs, and memorandums of law
- Conduct legal research and respond to discovery-related requests
- Appear in court for contested motions and maintain responsibility for all aspects of respective cases
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in contested motion practice
- Admission to practice law in the state of New York; admission in NJ/PA/CT is a plus
- Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to quickly identify and resolve legal issues
- Eagerness to manage a heavy workload and produce significant legal work
