New York Licensed Litigation Attorney

Job Summary

Managing a diverse docket of insurance defense and civil litigation matters, the full-time New York Licensed Litigation Attorney will handle case evaluations, draft legal documents, and represent clients in court, all while working remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate cases and develop defense strategies from inception through trial
• Draft pleadings, written discovery, and dispositive motions
• Independently take and defend depositions and handle court appearances

Required qualifications

• New York Bar admission in good standing
• Recent civil litigation experience with a focus on insurance defense
• Associate through senior associate level experience
• Working knowledge of New York civil practice and New York Labor Law
• Experience in areas such as personal injury defense and construction-related claims is welcomed
