New York Licensed Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

Providing advanced heart failure care in a hybrid inpatient and outpatient setting, the full-time New York Licensed Nurse Practitioner will manage patient care, develop treatment plans, and participate in overnight remote call coverage, including weekend rounding as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care, including taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests
• Collaborate with attending physicians to develop diagnoses and treatment plans, and assist in research data collection
• Engage with patients and families to provide education, support, and problem-solving throughout their care journey

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing (MS required)
• Current New York State RN and Nurse Practitioner certifications
• Cardiology experience is highly preferred; prior CTICU or CICU nursing experience is acceptable for new graduates
• Ability to work in high-stress environments and make critical decisions with minimal supervision
• Exceptional documentation skills and professional demeanor
