Job Summary
Supporting student progression and NCLEX readiness, the part-time New York Licensed Nursing Success Coach will provide individualized academic coaching, facilitate workshops, and collaborate with faculty in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Provide individualized academic coaching based on performance data and referrals
- Facilitate coaching appointments and workshops focused on study strategies and NCLEX preparation
- Track student progress and collaborate with faculty to support course expectations and remediation practices
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution; doctoral degree preferred
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license; New York licensure preferred
- Experience in nursing education, academic coaching, or NCLEX preparation preferred
- Strong understanding of nursing curriculum and evidence-informed academic support practices
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and manage multiple student contacts
