New York Licensed Outpatient Therapist

Job Summary

To support a growing outpatient practice, the full-time New York Licensed Outpatient Therapist will provide high-quality clinical care, manage weekly patient sessions, and develop tailored treatment plans in a remote or hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychotherapy services, including intake evaluations and patient-centered treatment plans
• Maintain a consistent patient care schedule while adhering to clinical standards and documentation requirements
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration and participate in weekly supervision and clinical education sessions

Required qualifications

• Active New York State License (LMSW or MHC-LP) or eligibility for licensure
• Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field
• At least one year of experience practicing psychotherapy, including practicum experience
• Proficiency with technology platforms and electronic health record systems
• Certifications in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT) are a plus
