Job Summary
To support member medication adherence, the full-time New York Licensed Pharmacy Technician will provide medication counseling, facilitate access to medications, and collaborate with healthcare teams remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Review medication lists to identify barriers to therapy and serve as a Pharmacy Navigator for members
- Facilitate member access to medications, including obtaining refills and coordinating with community pharmacies
- Conduct patient health assessments to gather information on medication profiles and identify potential adherence issues
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Experience in clear and professional written and verbal communication
- Experience in communicating with patients, providers, and pharmacists regarding medication issues
- Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician in good standing or registered/licensed Pharmacy Technician in good standing
