New York Licensed Practice Accountant

Job Summary

Supporting a growing dental management company, the full-time New York Licensed Practice Accountant will manage the monthly financial close process, ensure compliance with accounting principles, and provide finance support to regional managers and dental office owners in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide finance support to regional managers, territory directors, and dental office owners, ensuring compliance with company policies
• Analyze and post journal entries, calculate incentives, and manage adjustments to P&L accounts with discretion
• Prepare financial statements, assist with audits, and participate in monthly calls to address finance-related inquiries

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Experience in public or private accounting for a large organization is a plus
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Above average Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task under tight deadlines
