Job Summary
Leading pricing and underwriting for new reinsurance transactions, the remote New York Licensed Pricing Actuary will provide technical leadership in actuarial modeling, assumption development, and liability risk assessment while collaborating with investment and finance teams.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate deal economics and develop pricing recommendations for reinsurance transactions
- Communicate key assumptions and sensitivities to senior stakeholders
- Support actuarial due diligence and transaction structuring from initial evaluation through execution
Required qualifications
- ASA or FSA actuary with 7+ years of life and annuity insurance or reinsurance experience
- Direct experience in actuarial pricing, underwriting, reserving, or valuation
- Strong modeling capabilities, including cash flow projections and sensitivity analysis
- Experience with asset-liability management strategies and investment portfolio assessment
- Knowledge of Bermuda regulations and international reinsurance experience is advantageous
