Seeking a New York Licensed Probate Paralegal, the part-time remote contractor will manage probate matters from estate opening to final distribution, prepare and draft various legal documents, and communicate professionally with clients and court personnel.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and draft probate petitions, pleadings, and fiduciary documents
- Manage probate matters from estate opening through final distribution and closing
- Draft and revise estate planning documents, including wills and trusts
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Probate Paralegal or Legal Assistant
- Extensive experience handling probate administration from opening to closing
- Experience drafting probate pleadings and related court filings
- Strong understanding of probate court procedures and filing requirements
