Handling complex contents claims virtually, the full-time New York Licensed Property Adjuster will conduct thorough coverage investigations, negotiate settlements, and collaborate with onsite vendors using advanced video technology in a fully remote position.

Key responsibilities

• Manage escalated claims files with detailed coverage investigations and accurate policy application
• Negotiate claim settlements in alignment with business unit standards while communicating empathetically with customers
• Utilize data and analytics to influence decision-making and ensure holistic handling of claims in coordination with structure adjusters

Required qualifications

• New York Property Adjuster license
• Experience handling contents claims, particularly complex cases
• Proficiency in using video technology for virtual collaboration
• Strong background in claims investigation and policy interpretation
• Ability to effectively communicate through various channels, including phone and email
