New York Licensed Provider Relations Director

Job Summary

Leading the provider relations team, the full-time New York Licensed Provider Relations Director will manage health plan provider relations activities, support network development, and serve as the primary contact for contracted providers, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the provider relations department, including education, outreach, and issue resolution
• Develop and implement provider relations strategies to establish a sufficient network of participating providers
• Collaborate with network management and operations teams to support provider services functions and strategic initiatives

Required qualifications

• At least 8 years of provider services experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and/or Marketplace products
• A minimum of 3 years in a management or leadership role
• Strong understanding of the health care delivery system and managed health care provider compensation methodologies
• Experience working with community agencies and providers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and applicable software programs
