New York Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To support a growing tele-mental health practice, the part-time New York Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality psychiatric telehealth services, including assessments and follow-up appointments, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team and managing a caseload remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide psychiatric telehealth services, including initial assessments and follow-up appointments, following evidence-based guidelines
• Diagnose, prescribe psychotropic medications, and offer psychoeducation and supportive psychotherapy to patients aged 12 and older
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team and ensure timely documentation and patient engagement

Required qualifications:

• Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) licensure in New York
• Active DEA licensure
• Participation in New York Medicaid and Medicare
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
• Experience working with adolescents aged 12 and older in a clinical setting
