New York Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To support a growing tele-mental health practice, the part-time New York Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality psychiatric telehealth services, including assessments and follow-up appointments, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team and managing a caseload remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric telehealth services, including diagnosis, psychoeducation, and medication management
• Educate patients on treatment options, risks, and benefits while setting reasonable outcome expectations
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient engagement and care delivery

Required qualifications:

• Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) licensure in New York
• Active DEA licensure
• Ability to provide patient sessions in Spanish
• Participation in New York Medicaid and Medicare
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
