Job Summary
Seeking a New York Licensed Senior Counsel, the hybrid role will independently manage court appearances, depositions, and trials while providing leadership and mentorship to junior attorneys in a dynamic litigation environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff narratives
- Independently handle all aspects of litigation, including discovery and trial preparation
- Foster relationships with clients and provide guidance to less experienced attorneys
Required qualifications
- JD from an ABA-approved law school
- Active bar license in the State of New York
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense
- Proficiency in MS Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to manage full case handling responsibilities with minimal supervision
