New York Licensed Senior Staff Attorney
Job Summary
Independently managing litigation cases, the full-time New York Licensed Senior Staff Attorney will handle motor-vehicle accidents, premises liability, and Labor Law/construction accident cases in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Independently handle lawsuits and prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs in support of defense strategies
- Conduct legal research and develop defense strategies while providing legal advice to clients
- Communicate effectively with courts, witnesses, and opposing counsel, ensuring timely disposition of assigned cases
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years of legal litigation experience
- Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school and license to practice in New York State
- Knowledge of New York Supreme and Civil courts
- Member in good standing of New York State Bar; federal admission in SDNY and EDNY is a plus
- Strong legal research and writing skills, with excellent organizational abilities
