Job Summary
Seeking a New York Licensed Senior Trial Counsel, the full-time remote attorney will manage complex litigation cases primarily in Labor Law, Premises Liability, and Products Liability, independently handling cases from inception through trial while collaborating with a team of experienced litigators.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze complex legal issues and develop defense strategies independently
- Prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs, and present evidence at trials and hearings
- Provide legal advice and maintain effective relationships with clients and the court
Required qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in New York State
- Minimum of 15 years of significant trial experience in insurance defense
- Knowledge of New York Supreme Courts
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to travel to downstate venues for case handling
