New York Licensed Social Worker
Job Summary
To support the Employee Assistance Program, the part-time New York Licensed Social Worker will provide short-term counseling and consultation services to faculty, staff, and their families, while working in a hybrid model of on-site and remote environments.
Key responsibilities
- Provide short-term problem-focused counseling and referral services for personal issues, including marital and behavioral health concerns
- Conduct individual assessments and develop service plans, including appropriate referrals for evaluation and treatment
- Develop and deliver educational/training programs regarding Employee Assistance services to various organizational stakeholders
Required qualifications
- NYS LMSW license
- Prior experience in Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) preferred
- Organizational and clinical knowledge relevant to workplace behavioral health issues
- Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook
- Minimum one year in a relevant position
