Job Summary

Analyzing Lost-Time Workers Compensation claims, the full-time New York Workers Compensation Adjuster will adjudicate complex customer claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate with claimants and clients, with a hybrid work schedule available for those within commuting distance to Syracuse, NY, or remote options for others.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims to ensure timely resolutions through investigation and information gathering
• Negotiate settlements of claims within designated authority
• Communicate claim activity and processing updates to claimants and clients

Required qualifications

• 2 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification related to the line of business preferred
• Knowledge of New York jurisdiction is essential
• New York licensing preferred, but not required
