NMLS Licensed Direct Lending Specialist
Job Summary
Working remotely, the NMLS Licensed Direct Lending Specialist will manage loan analysis verification activities, assist customers and bankers with the loan approval process, and resolve operational issues while ensuring compliance with underwriting requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Perform loan analysis verification by collaborating with customers, bankers, vendors, and underwriters
- Guide customers and bankers through the loan approval process by analyzing loan transactions and reviewing documentation
- Provide problem resolution for operational issues and ensure efficient loan processing
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- One or more years of relevant experience in direct lending
- Knowledge of underwriting and loan origination functions and applicable regulations
- Understanding of U.S. Bank policies related to Direct Lending processing
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
