NMLS Licensed Loan Assistant
Job Summary
Supporting the customer journey from application to funding, the fully remote NMLS Licensed Loan Assistant will manage documentation, ensure timely closings, and assist with borrower requests while handling a pipeline of approximately 30 loan closings per month.
Key responsibilities:
- Gather required documentation and submit loan files for processing and underwriting to meet on-time closings
- Manage a pipeline of 30 loan closings per month while ensuring compliance with TRID regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist team members with borrower requests and documentation needs
Required qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in mortgage operations and/or processing
- Active NMLS license or ability to acquire one within the first 90 days of hire
- Experience using a Loan Origination System (LOS), Blend, and/or Google Suite
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven success working remotely in prior positions with a distributed team
