NMLS Licensed Loan Associate
Job Summary
Supporting Loan Officers in a full-time capacity, the NMLS Licensed Loan Associate will perform administrative tasks to ensure loan files are complete and ready for underwriting, while maintaining a high standard of borrower experience and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Collects and manages borrower documentation to support submission-ready loan files
- Coordinates appraisal payments and follows up on unsigned applications, guiding borrowers through the electronic-signature process
- Maintains accurate loan status information and serves as a primary point of contact for sales support and underwriters
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of experience in mortgage loan origination
- Active NMLS licensing is required
- High School Diploma or GED is required; Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Prior experience working with automated Loan Origination Systems
- Demonstrated computer proficiency and excellent customer service skills
