Job Summary
Supporting the mortgage lending team, the full-time NMLS Licensed Loan Originator Associate will assist in evaluating borrower needs, preparing loan packages, and coordinating with processing teams, while also having the opportunity to independently originate loans remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist Loan Originators with borrower consultations and loan scenario analysis
- Evaluate borrower qualifications and recommend suitable loan products
- Complete mortgage applications and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete
Required qualifications:
- Current NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator license or ability to obtain one
- Two or more years of mortgage industry experience
- Strong understanding of residential mortgage lending practices and underwriting guidelines
- Proven ability to assess loan viability and identify financing solutions
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
