NMLS Licensed Loan Originator Assistant

Job Summary

Supporting a designated Loan Originator or Production Team, the full-time NMLS Licensed Loan Originator Assistant will provide mortgage assistance, manage client communications, and perform administrative tasks in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Reviews loan applications and supporting documentation while maintaining communication with clients throughout the process
• Documents client conversations in loan origination software and provides regular status updates to the Loan Originator and clients
• Assists clients with the origination system and ensures timely processing of borrower documents in compliance with internal protocols

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required
• NMLS License preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in a customer service or customer-facing role is preferred
• Basic understanding of financial documents such as assets, income, and credit is preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, particularly Word and Excel
