Job Summary
To assist members with residential mortgage financing, the full-time remote NMLS Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer will manage inbound inquiries, guide borrowers through the mortgage process, and ensure compliance with lending guidelines.
Key responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to inbound mortgage inquiries and conduct thorough interviews with members to assess their financing needs
- Educate members on mortgage products and manage the mortgage application process from inquiry to closing
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate processing of mortgage applications and maintain a high level of member service
Required qualifications:
- Associate degree in business, finance, banking, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1 year of current mortgage lending experience within a financial institution
- Active NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator Identifier
- Demonstrated knowledge of residential mortgage lending products and applicable regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn mortgage loan origination systems
