Job Summary
Guiding clients through the mortgage loan process, the full-time NMLS Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator will originate residential mortgage loans, assist clients in selecting suitable products, and ensure compliance with regulatory policies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Originate residential mortgage loans by developing relationships with real estate agents and other referral sources
- Assist clients in selecting the best mortgage product and guide them through the application process
- Ensure all loans meet underwriting guidelines and comply with state and federal regulations
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer, Loan Originator, or similar role
- Valid NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System) license
- Knowledge of loan origination systems (LOS) and mortgage lending guidelines
- Strong understanding of financial documentation and credit analysis
